BUSINESS-INFORMATION VERIFICATION
What Show Up Nearby Verified means
The badge is displayed only while a business location has passed the active, versioned verification standard and the verification remains current.
The public statement
Show Up Nearby Verified means we reviewed defined business information under the verification standard shown on the profile. The badge does not guarantee workmanship, pricing, availability, or service quality. Licensing, insurance, background checks, and other facts are verified only when the named standard explicitly lists them as passed criteria.
Examples a named standard may include
These are possible criteria, not a claim that every item was checked for every business.
- Business ownership information
- Published phone and website information
- Google Business Profile information, when available
- Published address or service-area information
- Required documentation, when relevant to the active standard
What the badge does not mean
Show Up Nearby Verified does not promise an outcome, endorse a particular provider, or replace your own evaluation of a business.
Verification can expire or be suspended. The badge is removed from the public profile when the active verification requirements are no longer met.
