Keep Multiple Business Locations Accurate in the Directory
Treat each location as its own customer contact point while keeping shared branding consistent.

Identify the location the customer is choosing
Two locations can share a brand while using different phone numbers, opening hours, teams or service areas. Review each directory profile as a separate customer decision. Use location-specific contact details when they are genuinely different.
Do not create extra profiles merely to repeat the same service-area business in every nearby city. Search existing records first and use the service-area information to describe coverage appropriately.
Keep shared information and local facts distinct
Write enough location-specific context to help the customer understand which team to contact. Avoid copying a description that advertises services unavailable from that location.
- Shared identity: approved logo and consistent business naming.
- Local contact: the website or phone route that handles this location.
- Local operations: hours, services and actual coverage.
- Local evidence: photographs that accurately represent the location or its work.
Work within the access you have
Your workspace shows the businesses and locations you are authorized to manage. Open the intended profile before editing and check the location name in the preview. Access to one location should not be assumed to authorize changes to every record with the same brand.
Submit each location's changes through its review workflow. Keep a simple internal review schedule for contact details, hours and coverage. When staff responsibility changes, have the appropriate administrator review management access as well as the public information.
