Published describes visibility

A published profile is available to customers in the directory when it meets the publication rules. It may have been created from reviewed public business information before an owner claims it. Publication does not by itself prove that the business owner supplied every detail.

Customers should confirm current availability, prices and job-specific requirements directly with the business. A directory record is a starting point for contact.

Claimed describes management access

A claim is a request to manage an existing business location. The applicant supplies information about their authority, and the request goes through review. Creating an account or submitting a claim does not automatically grant ownership.

Approved management access lets the authorized person prepare profile changes. Those changes can still have draft, submitted or review states before they affect the public record.

Verified describes a separate evidence decision

Verification depends on the evidence and status recorded through the platform's verification process. It is separate from an applicant's statement, an uploaded image or an attractive profile. Do not interpret the absence or presence of one status as a substitute for checking the specific qualifications your project requires.

Read the status at the right level

Text changes, photographs, claims and the public profile can each be at different stages. A draft image does not become public merely because the profile is published. In Business Studio, check the relevant item's status and any feedback before assuming a submission is complete. This separation helps owners prepare content while reviewers assess the appropriate decision.
